McCain Gaffes, Volunteering Wife For Topless Contest
August 05, 2008 5:31 PM
ABC News' Gregory Wallace and Sara Just Report: Sen. John McCain, R-Az., perhaps unknowingly, volunteered his wife for a beauty pageant on Monday that often features contestants topless -- and, occasionally, without any decency -- at the Sturgis, South Dakota, motorcycle rally.
"I was looking at the Sturgis schedule, and noticed that you had a beauty pageant, so I encouraged Cindy to compete," McCain told an audience at the rally. "I told her [that] with a little luck, she could be the only woman to serve as both the First Lady and Miss Buffalo Chip."
The audience, clearly better versed in the details of the pageant, cheered and whistled their approval.
This annual rally, now in its 62nd year, rally attracts upwards of 500,000 riders in August to the small town of 5,500. The contest is named for the Buffalo Chip campground, home to about 25,000 riders for the nine-day rally.
The Arizona senator, according to the Buffalo Chip campground website, was participating in "the Buffalo Chip’s annual Tribute to American Veterans and Active Duty Servicemen." The site also says that many attendees are "veterans and active duty servicemen who will have a great appreciation for McCain’s family history of service to our country."
McCain also promised the audience that he would only speak briefly.
"I know that we are waiting with great anticipation for Kid Rock and the other entertainment," the Arizona senator said.

Obama would make a better president.
Yep, maybe at Disney World, but I don't think even they would hire someone with no experience...
Not to mention missed most of the votes in the job he currently has...lol

Note, if anyone cares to, that the Sturgis rally isn't exactly representative of the ultra rich in this country. And they gave McCain a warm welcome. Obama? He's affluent, caters only to the well-to-do (while promising to tax 'em to hell), and wouldn't stand a chance in middle America. Hell, his wife complained about the difficulties of dealing with piano lessons for the kids on only $500,000 a year, as if she's one of the rest of us. PS... if Democrats are so thrilled with the idea of higher taxes, then perhaps only Democrats should pay taxes. They're plenty affluent (Hollywood, etc); we'll do fine.

Paris Hiltons mother has something to say about her daughter appearing in a commercial with her clothes on. But her mother did not have anything to say about Paris Hilton giving a BLOW J0B appearing with no clothes on all over the internet.
The RACE BAITERS also had something to say about the ad with Paris Hilton but never mentioned the OBAMA GIRL.

Just one more example of how a career politician will promise anything with no intent to ever deliver (or to read the details and know what they're talking about).

Oh let me do a redo: Ya, she would fit right in with some of those trashy women, they sleep around and do drugs also.....

Anybody remember the "california raisins" commercials?
Well, it looks like they are about to make a comeback !!!!

Well, at least she would have the attention of the crowd. She might even win and honorable mention, I have seen some of the ladies that competed, and Mrs. McCain beats many of these beauties.

westfsu, deep down you know Obama would make a better president.

Of course the media spin would assume that McCain wasn't aware of nudity in the competition. Score another round of attention for McCain, aided by the press. Frankly his wife could be pretty hot topless, compared to many of the "Biker Babes" I've seen. McCain is turning out to be a pretty humorous and likeable guy.

Mm. NO thank you. You keep that shirt on, Skeletorina.

Mrs. McCain, the Stepford wife of John McCain, enters a beauty pagent?? Isn't she a bit old (50+) for that kind of nonsense. And who wants a president who has time to enter his wife in a beauty pagent? Does that have any meaning to Americans? How does that help McCains campaign for the presidency? Where are your prioities Mr. McCain? Time to grow up and get serious.

"McCain Gaffes" as the headline. How absurd. Last week the Obama cheerleading nes media was spending all of their time disecting McCain's history of allegedly inappropriate joke telling. The man has a long history of telling jokes, including singing Barbara Streisand songs on Saturday Night Live.
Did ABC News even verify that McCain wasn't joking. I for one think it's pretty funny and certainly appropriate for the audience.
I love how they leave out the fact that 50,000 middle American bikers cheered and applauded him. But Obama gets a bunch of drunk Germans to cheer for him at a music fest and it leads the nightly news.
The American people see right through this biased garbage.
Maybe we should all just inflate our tires and OBEY OBAMA.

Let me get this straight, Barak Obama goes to Germany and is received by countless numbers of people eager to get a glimpse of a man with new solutions to major problems and the neocon fox traps minimalists spin it against him. We all read that the people gathered there were waiting for a concert which Obama basically hijacked to use the knee jerk conservative terd vernacular.
Now I see with my own eyes the great war veteran and all around maverick John McCain pandering to drunk motorcyclists
who have gathered to take in a Kid Rock concert. He offers the crowd a glimpse of his wife's breasts attempting to get
elected? This is fascinating because we all know the images of McCaine in front of an en rapt crowd will dominate CNN and FOX for the next few weeks.
We are in a race between education and catastrophe. Which horse is John McCaine betting on?

Cindy, the drug-stealing wife of McLame, should fit right in with the drug-crazed biker crowd.

I DID NOT WRITE THE BELOW.
THE JERK WHO DID IT IS ADVICED TO DESIST.

Scamer, it is obvious that what you said is not true. The female Apes in "planet of the Apes" are supposed to look fairly caring and loving of their fellow apes. Michelle Obama could never pull it off, but she may be able to pull off the male lead. (The black, scary ape.)
